Exchange, swap and trade mean the same thing
You will see the idea described as a Google review exchange, a Google review swap, or a review trade. They all mean one business writing a review of another in return for a review of its own. What differs between services is who you are matched with and what protects you if the other side does not follow through. Here, partners come from the same country, never from your own category, and the credits for an exchange are returned to you if the other business does not complete the exchange and penalised.

Keeping an exchange honest and natural
- Write only about what you actually know of the business: their service, their work, how they communicate.
- Use your own words. A suggested review is a starting point, not text to paste.
- Post on different days rather than at the same moment, and within the deadline.
- Give the rating the way it is described in the review request.
- Exchange with different businesses over time. You never get matched with the same partner twice.

Is a Google review exchange allowed?
Google asks that reviews are honest and based on a real experience, and it does not allow fake reviews or reviews written in return for payment or other incentives. Review platforms decide for themselves how to treat any review, and ReviewXchange cannot promise how a particular review will be treated. Members are asked to write only about real experience with the business.
How many reviews will I get?
One review for each completed exchange. How many you complete depends on how many partners accept and finish. ReviewXchange does not promise a number of reviews or a change in your ranking. Its all depend on how active you are in the platform.
What happens if my partner does not reply?
If the request is not answered in time it closes and the credits held for it are returned to you automatically. Nothing is lost and they will be penalised according to the platform rules.
What do I need to join?
A business with a public review page on at least one supported platform: Google, Yelp, Trustpilot, TripAdvisor, Homestars or Facebook. You paste the link to that page when you set up your business. You can also hide your business name from other members until a request is accepted.
What does it cost?
Joining is free and new members receive starter credits. Each exchange costs a number of credits that depends on the platform. You see the cost before you send a request. More credits can be earned by reviewing other businesses or bought in packs.
